does real cron affect my analytics

  • Hi,
    I started a blog that retraces my great grand father’s war diaries ( https://www.carnetdeguerre.be ) and to make things feel real, I programmed all the posts to be scheduled at the exact same date (but 100 years later) as the actual journal entry.

    But my site trafic is too low to rely on wp-cron, so I configured my host to do real cron wget on wp-cron.php at regular intervals, and it works just like I want it to.

    Question is though: would this affect my analytics?

    It shouldn’t affect your analytics. I don’t think any analytics code would get loaded when fetching the wp-cron.php file.
