Does Prime page cache follow links in the XML sitemap?

    Hey guys, sorry if this is a duplicate.

    When using the “Automatically prime the page cache” setting, does it follow other sitemaps within the provided URL?

    Example: sitemap_index.xml contains 4 more sitemaps which should be included in the priming. Will W3 find them?

    Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to help!

    The answer is yes. Nested sitemaps are supported as well. You can provide a single sitemap URL which may contain more sitemaps and this will be preloaded also by the W3 Total Cache.
