Does plugin override the download limit plugin? Help!

    I was directed to your plug in via EDD Basic Support.

    When I installed the plug in, it seemed to override the EDD download limit plug in. All of the “sold out” downloads were back as if they were available!!

    This is what I wanted to do: (copied from what I asked in the EDD forum)

    I have downloads that have been sold. I don’t want people to have to scroll through a large amount of sold items to find the ones that are available. Is there any way to have the items that have been sold not appear, but still be available to the purchaser in case they need to re-download? I thought it would be a good idea to put the download in “trash”, just to get it out of the list, not realizing that the trash emptied itself and they are now gone. EEK! So, basically, I’m wondering if there’s a way to keep the sold items in the system, but just not shown in the store.

    Can you link me to your post on the EDD forums?

    Do you mean the purchase limits extension? The purchase limits extension does not hide downloads once they are sold out so EDD Hide Download doesn’t/shouldn’t override anything. If you want your downloads to be hidden after being sold out, use EDD Hide Download and enable the “hide this download” option on the download.

    Yes, the purchase limit extension is what i was referring to, sorry.

    As soon as I uploaded the Hide Download extension, all of the downloads that were sold out went to prices again, as if they were available to purchase and they shouldn’t be.

    I also have a question, if a person purchases something then it gets hidden, and they want to re-download it, are they able to?

    Ok, I figured something out, both plugins got disabled. I re-enabled and it looks ok. Sorry about that. So, I basically just have the one question which is:

    if a person purchases something then it gets hidden, and they want to re-download it, are they able to?

    There was a bug in EDD Hide Download and possibly purchase limits that caused them to deactivate when EDD was updated. EDD Hide Download was updated to fix this bug so that shouldn’t be an issue anymore. Did you per chance update EDD recently but didn’t update EDD Hide Download? make sure you’re on the latest version and you should be fine.

    EDD Hide Download only hides it on the front-end of your website so yes, if they have already purchased it they can download again from their purchase/download history.

    Hi, Is it possible to force all items to be sold out after a single purchase of one of the variably priced items?

    Thanks, I’ve downloaded and installed the extension. It works great but would like the option to have the purchase button show a different color when it is sold out, do you know if that is possible?
