Does Plugin exist that enables users to communicate with each other.

    I have been working with WordPress and have been impressed with the variety and depth of some of the plugins. I mainly use it because I am not very proficient in coding and it offers a lot of tools for development. But I think I am at a crossroads. I need a tool whereby users can log into an environment and query offerings of other users that they have entered into the system. I know this is a pretty complicated process but I was wondering if anything like this is available in the WordPress Plugin environment. I have searched the internet but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.
