Hello, I never tried this plugin because there are already Schema Markup in OCeanWP.

    Hello,
On this topic, I have enabled your schema markup in the general settings but I am use to using a third party plug in that asks for the information to mark up.

I am a bit confused how the schema markup is happening, is it using the information from other areas like NAP info, etc from our wordpress dashboard or some place on your theme settings? How do I edit that information?

Or do I have to do on page markup myself and if so how does that work with Elementor?

Sorry for the questions I Googled this for an hour before giving in not finding anything relevant with this theme Elementor except this post. Really Great Theme and enjoying it and its flexibility we will be adding more sites and features soon!

Hello @anthonyacker, you don’t need to do anything, the schema markups are implemented in the theme so google knows that you have a header, content, body, footer, navigation, etc…
What you have activated in the customizer is not the schema markup but opengraph, this is different, it is when you share a post in social media like Twitter or Facebook, they will automatically take your screenshot, title, content, etc… instead of taking the wrong image or title.

    Ahh, that is great.

I was wondering how we relay NAP schema as well? Just putting it in our footer?

Thank you for your time to respond!

Hello, if you need to add it the footer, yes add the file in your child theme and do what you need via your text editor.

Hello, sorry but seems to be the only post concerning schema markup.

Does the template have the ability to include rating stars in google search results for our articles? Or we need an extra plugin for that?

    Regards

Hello @manuxx34, yes, you will need a plugin for that, the schema markup included in the theme are for the basics.
