• This plugin does not work with wordpress 3.5. I am not able to save my alexa id to claim the site. Adding the alexa certify code also leaves wp-login.php page and related pages due to which alexa fails to certify the site. Will uninstall the plugin and also cancel alexa pro subscription as I am not able to make my wordpress blog certified with alexa. Its a total waste of time.

  • I havent upgraded my site to 3.5 version but still I cant claim my site through Alexa’s website according to the plugins instructions.

    Plugin Author Alexa Internet

We are updating the plugin now, and hope to have a new version released very soon.

I’m having a bit of a different problem. The plug in saves the info, but Alexa won’t verify the site. I added both the verification ID and the javascript code to certify it, but when I click to verify or certify, I get the red error message saying

There was an internal error verifying your site.
    Please

    1. Try verifying again
    2. If the problem persists, please contact Alexa Support.

I’ve tried verifying and certifying multiple times, and I viewed the Page source code and verified that the code is there (via the plug in), but its still not working. Please help! Thanks in advance…

Is there going to be an update for 3.5? It has been more than a month already. I have the same problem in may 2013 as everyone did ages ago. Cancellation of Pro is the recourse.

Yes, I would like to know if there is going to be an update? Here we are three months later and no update
