Does not work with Polylang-Slugs

  • Hi,

    It seems when polylang-slugs plugin is activated (which allowed the same slug for different post/pages in different languages), NextGen has troubles creating galleries or working with the display type of an existing gallery.

    With that plugin disabled, I can work with NextGen, but when it’s enabled, I get the following:
    – Adding a gallery through “manage galleries” is possible, adding pictures to it through the backend is not possible.
    – Adding pictures through FTP in the created folder (workaround) works, but when I want to add the gallery to a post/page, no matter which display type I choose, I get “please correct the following: incorrect display type” when trying to save.

    Any idea what I can do to have both working?

    @dries25 – I would suggest working with the other plugin author since it appears it is changing the “path” to the images, etc. which NextGEN Gallery is relying on.
