Does not work with front-end editor of Salient theme.

    This plugin certainly helped speeding up the website, unfortunately since recent version renewals (both “Salient” Theme and Plugin) the front-editor of the Salient Theme cannot be used anymore. The screen starts loading and remains frozen in that state.

    We can deactivate the plugin for regular use, and occasionally activate the plugin to shrink the images.

    I did see more forum entries about non-working editors from various themes, looks like a more generic issue.

  • @guzzisto Could you please try to uncheck the option “Enable merging of Javascript files” and “Enable merging of CSS files” from WP-Optimize > Minify > Javascript and CSS and check if it helps to fix the issue?

    @bornforphp I tried both options, the
    (Dis-)Enable merging of CSS files did not solve the issue, but together with the
    (Dis-)Enable merging of Javascript files, the problem was solved.

    Is this enough evidence for you to find the root cause?

    @guzzisto Your theme’s CSS might be causing the issue, So its requested to keep both the options off.
