Hey, the plugin does not seem to work with elementor 3.5.4 version and wp 5.9 version. I cannot see the widget in the builder? I tried to use shortcode but it does not work as well. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks!

    Hello @nickkits

Thank you for your interest in Filter Everything.

It works with Elementor but dependently from the version (Free or PRO) it supports different opportunities. For example Free version works only on WordPress archive pages (post type archive, category archive, tag archive, tax archive, author archive and so on) with native main WP_Queries. The PRO version includes ability to filter on singular pages and any Custom WP Queries.

So if your Elementor page is singular you have to use PRO version.

Hey! I tried using it on shop page, the filter does not appear.. The widget appears if I use: “filter everything-sorting” though. I also tried using it in custom template built with elementor pro it does not show there as well. Also tried creating simple archive with posts and added couple of categories, but does not seem to show as well… Do I have to tweak something in elementor or filter everything settings?

    Hello @nickkits

    Let me please know:
    1. Did you add Filters widget on the page, where you expected to see it?
    2. If you added the widget correctly, you have to see message “No one Filter Set is related with this page…” Do you see this message?

If you don’t see it, try please to add a Text widget with any text in the same widget are as Filter Everything widget and to check if you see this text.

    Let me know.

Hey! Thanks for reply. I will add some screenshots here, so you can see what is happening ??

First I created filter set: https://prnt.sc/26nah0c
I also create custom post and added ACF to the post here: https://prnt.sc/26nahvj
I created archive page with those posts and you plugin filter and it looks like this: https://prnt.sc/26najyr posts https://prnt.sc/26nakg5 and where to show them https://prnt.sc/26nalfx
    Preview looks like this: https://prnt.sc/26nalow

I cannot see the message you showed in your reply.

    Hi @nickkits

If your “archive page” is singular page in WordPress context the Free version of the plugin will not work on it. Also it seems you use Elementor posts widget with custom WP_Query and this is second reason, why filtering does not work.

Filter Everything Free can work only on the native archive for the post type you created.

    1. First of all you have to check the result on live page not on Elementor page edit screen.

    2. If you use Elementor posts block you have to use native (current) WP_Query if this block allows you to select it. For example Elementor Products block allows you to do this.

I just checked this with Free version and Elementor product archive template – all works fine.

Are you trying to filter through ACF fields? I use simple archive template add to a page to show posts. Posts have custom fields, but it does not show anything still… Maybe something wrong with how I set the filter? Can you show screenshot how the filter should be set?
