I have installed WordPress HTTPS (SSL) 3.3.6 on a WordPress 4.0.1 de-DE, and set it to force SSL connection non-exclusively (i.e. all pages). It works with Firefox and Opera… but not with Chrome/Chromium.

    Tested
    – Firefox 33.0 (for Ubuntu canonical)
    – Opera 12.16 (build 1860 for Linux)
    – Chromium Version 39.0.2171.65
    on Ubuntu 14.04.

    UPDATE
As I see it the plugin fails to force https for the first page to be displayed. I have fallen back on mod_rewrite in htaccess to redirect all queries.
