Hi @campanero ,
Wow, this is quite the misrepresentation of our interaction. Here is the actual interaction, with a screenshot for proof. This was my response to your ticket (which was submitted as a pre-purchase question rather than a support ticket) :
Hi Lutz,
I haven’t heard of any conflicts with the Avada Builder, though I suspect the issue might be related to adding the body shift wrapper and that just needs to be disabled or the wrapper reconfigured.
If you have any further questions, please be sure to Submit a Ticket with a currently supported license and a link to your site so we can take a look – thanks!
Best,
Chris

To recap, my response:
– Explained the issue hasn’t been reported previously, so it wasn’t something we’re aware of yet (and would therefore need to assess to help of course)
– Suggested a potential solution, a best guess based on the limited information provided
– Offered to help you resolve it by sharing the site URL so we could see it firsthand
– You didn’t include a link to your site, so there was no way to assess anything specific for you without further information
You never replied to allow us to help, so the fact that you would claim that we “didn’t want to fix it” or that we disregarded your report is absurd – and misleading at best. Your description of my response is certainly not accurate, as anyone can see above.
Again, most likely you have the Shift Body setting enabled (it’s disabled by default by the way), and the Avada Live Builder doesn’t like the extra wrapper. You can either turn that off or define your own that already exists in the theme through the ShiftNav settings. This is not an issue with the plugin or something that can be “fixed” in the code (it’s a limitation of the Avada Live Builder, so it will prevent use of this feature in this configuration), and there are simple solutions to resolve the conflict just by configuring the settings like I suggested. In all likelihood its a non-issue, you just need to uncheck a box.
By the way, we have hundreds of customers using ShiftNav and Avada together without issue.
Customers should know that we’re always happy to help assess and resolve issues, but we’re not magic. We need to be able to see the problem to actually help you out. Leaving 1-star reviews misrepresenting our support interaction and blaming the plugin for something that can be easily resolved by configuring a setting does not help anyone in this community.
Take care,
Chris
