Does not work when in the themes folder

    I’m creating a theme where ACF is packaged with the theme. I was hoping to package your plugin with the theme as well, but I get a few errors when I do that.

    I do not recommended that you bundle my plugin with a theme, or most plugins really. Plugins packaged into themes do not get updates through the plugin manager in WordPress.

    Check out TGM Plugin Activation, which is a better way to ‘bundle’ recommended or required plugins with a theme that your distribute, that allows them to still get updates normally.

    @practisinc I wanted to let you know I’ve updated this plugin to support ‘theme installations’. I do still recommend the TGM Plugin Activation method if you are distributing a theme with required/recommended plugins. However for those that still want to bundle it, that should be possible now.
