Does not work on AWS or Rack Space.

    Unfortunately, this plugin did not work for me. I am on AWS and have also tried this on a site hosted on Rack Space Cloud Site Platform.

    The problem is fetching the IP database. I’ve used other Geo IP based plugins and almost all of them have alternative methods to download very large IP databases from external servers. This plugin unfortunately does not.

    I will change my review to five stars when the author implements an alternative IP database fetching option

    Did you try the support thread before writing the review? It’s so sad that people give poor rating just because it didn’t work for them. You should have instead tried to contact the developer and get a solution.
    First try to fix issues that are emanating from your side instead of discouraging the developer.
