Does Not Work if Post is a Sticky?

I want to hide the title on my very first post on my HOME page. I downloaded the plug-in and I found out that it works as long as the page is not a sticky. When I removed the sticky, the plug-in worked. When I added the sticky back on the post, the plug-in did not work. I want to display a photo of a rose on the very first page when you open up the website and I want this photo to stay at the top. I just don’t want the WELCOME title to be there. Is there a fix? If I simply remove the title, a number will show up under recent posts in its place. I want the WELOME title in recent post, I just don’t want it to say WELCOME at the top when you open up the website. Please check out: https://guriladesign.com
