• It’s a too good to be true type of thing.

It will work for single word obviously named widgets, but when you try to use a widget ID it fails every time.
Doing the DeBug would have been very cool, however no matter which widget I put in the widget/shortcode area prior to page debugging, it’s always the same thing. It will show the ID name or names, but putting those exact names in the short code area on the page will result in another fail. Then just changing it back to say “archives” or “pages” or “Calendar” will result in success.

Plug in at point was an hour or so of wasted time.

The plugin to get to manage pages and widgets that works amazing is
    PAGE BUILDER by SITEORIGIN
It worked in 30 seconds, no lie.

Best wishes otherwise to those who try their best on these things, but it just needs more love.

  • Yes, had the same, then realized you have to put widgets with spaces in names in quotes.
So for Tag Cloud you need to write [do_widget “Tag Cloud”] .
Works fine then. Append class=”whatever” to style it. Really easy and powerful plugin I think, does not deserve the 1-star…

Thanks Heyme – some people just can’t read the instructions and waste their own time.

Latet version now actually gives them the link to the instructions and also the actual shortode to use.
