• Cannot connect to my fb account where I suddenly learned that I have the wrong business account “type”. So, obvs that there’s non-standard or inconsistent API use here and no guarantee that compatibility with an account will persist.

    Contacted FB support and their “solution” was to remove my existing FB biz page, complete with all its contacts, posts, etc., and let the plugin create a new biz page, basically the nuclear option. I imagine this is probably a popular response from support.

    Uninstalled. Wish I could give this zero stars for the time wasted and general plugin quality.

    That’s really not good experience though, especially the following:

    Feel free to open a new support forum post, and we’re happy to guide through the setup process.

    Basically it’s possibly to choose your existing Facebook assets (Facebook Business Manager, Pages, Catalog, etc) just to make sure that you have correct permissions.

    Thank you for the reply but I’m going to take a pass on fb (and ig) entirely in terms of integrating them w/my wooCom site.

    FB kinda went out of their way to destroy any confidence I may have had and now I just see fb-integration as a high-maintenance feature that’s going to become a black hole of time and resources going forward.
