    Hi,

The plugin does not seem to work for me. Simply does not show anything. I tried multiple FIT files etc.

Any know issues with the latest WP version?

    Tx.

    Best,
    Andreas

    Hi Andreas,
Sorry about the problem – Yes, the plugin works with the latest plugin – https://stuarttevendale.com/2020/09/07/show-fit-plugin-updated/ is on WP 5.6.

Do you see any error messages in your server logs?

The next release will have better error messaging for missing files, or files that can’t be decoded correctly. I’ll try to get that out before the end of the year.

    Thanks & Regards

    Hi Stuart,

    Thanks for the quick response!

It works. It was my mistake. Somehow my fit files had an error.

    Thanks for the great plugin!

    Best,
    Andreas

    Hi Stuart,

thanks for asking for input. Actually there are 2 features I would suggest to improve the plugin.

    1. Privacy Zones
See how Strava does it: https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000173384-Privacy-Zones

As many people will simply start their exercises from home that might not want to disclose to everybody where exactly they live. To me its a killer feature actually and so far I think no other GPX plugin has this.

    2. Upload feature with file name adjustment
Option to upload the .fit file
Blanks in filename are adjusted with _ or – to make sure link still works
Link for embedding in the post automatically generated for easy copy and paste

Thanks anyway for the great work!

    Cheers,
    Andreas
