A Robots.txt Manager Plugin for WordPress Multisite Networks does not work.

I created a separate version of the file for each subdomain on the network, but they do not appear and do not work. Default content displayed. Inside the admin panel, the plugin shows different settings for subdomains
    How to solve this problem?

    Hi,

Thank you for contacting our support.

About our multi-site feature, as mentioned on setting page:

This multisite feature would only work for directory based network sites. e.g: maindomain.com/networksite1 or maindomain.com/networksite2 etc. OR, if using a WordPress directory (maindomain.com/wp,…) as search engine bots always look for robots.txt inside main domain root directory (maindomain.com/robots.txt).

Meaning that a single robots.txt file will cover all your directory based network sites with this feature.

Sub-domains based network sites are NOT supported.

In your case, you need to install Better Robots.txt plugin on each sub-domain website.

Also, please make sure that your permalinks are enabled.

Let us know if it helps.

    Regards
