Does Not Work

  • Hi,

    Installed the lite version of the plugin.

    Can’t get it to work properly.

    I want to add .html to the url to match the old site I’m updating.

    Permalink Manager lite keeps on removing the changes I make under URI EDITOR / Pages. It keeps the entries for several trials and then removes all the changes.

    The site shows the changes in the menu links correctly, but clicking on the links yields the 404 error page.

    My htaccess file is set to 777. Not sure if the plugin needs to make changes to this file, but none are being made.

    The site works fine when I reset to the default permalink settings. The menu links are generated and work as they should, but I need to change the links to match the old site, hence this plugin.

    Can anyone offer any hints where I go to debug ?

    no changes to .htaccess file are required. Do you use URI Editor added with Permalink Manager? Could you contact me via email (contact /at/ maciejbis.net), so I can help you configure the plugin?
