Does not support variations very well

We bought the plugin. For standard products this plugin is fine.
We are using variations and cannot use the plugin because:
* sorting of variation is not supported
* sale prices and start and end date on variations are not supported

Also:
* filtering is not very well
* sorting on column would help
* search by sku needs wildcard
* the developer of the plugin doesn’t seem open for improvements.
