  • I have the same problem. WordPress the following error message.

    … /wp-content/plugins/caldera-forms/vendor/symfony/polyfill-mbstring/bootstrap.php on line 15

    I am using version 1.9.4

    You can change the file:
    caldera-forms/vendor/symfony/polyfill-mbstring/bootstrap.php
    by the one from the polyfill that corresponds to your PHP version. I am using PHP 8.0 and the one from php80 worked for me.

    Having the same issue, but noticed this on the description of this plugin!

    Description
    Caldera Forms will be sunset/retired on 31 Dec 2021.
    Security, WordPress compatibility, and maintenance updates will continue until that time.

    This will probably no longer get fixed so we need to go use another contact form plugin I am afraid.
