This does not show the open heart “add to wishlist” icon or ANY sharing icons.
Why doesn’t this use standard icons available to all? I’m NOT going to play around and hack CSS just to make something as basic and simple as icons appear in your default install. I’m using Storefront Theme, up to date. If your plugin can’t work out of the box with the standard WooCommerce theme, what good is it?

    Hi there

    Thank you for your feedback
The plugin isn’t installed on your site, so I cannot check the issue; anyway, most of the problems with icons comes from conflicts with other icon libraries included by other plugins

Unfortunately we cannot test our plugin with any other plugin out there in the market, but we make our best to support our users here

i have exactly same problem on my website.
    please check ismystore.com
    give me a solution please.
i have found that if i install Font Awesome plugin it’s fix that but share button not show WhatsApp icon and don’t show share icons correctly so i have remove that plugin.
i have make a fresh install and i have install electro theme and its plugin that come with that theme and that’s it.

It doesn’t matter anymore. This plugin SLOOOOOOWED my site to a crawl. I don’t know if it was because of a conflict with another plugin or not, but I don’t have time to debug these things. I don’t need anything fancy; I’ll find another simple wishlist that works out of the box, the first time, and doesn’t kill my site performance. Thanks for your quick response!

in my case it’s not killing my site, and somthing wrong with css + fonts need to be fix, i don’t know how somone can pay premium for this plugin

I am fixing that by myself,
first i have install Font Awesome plugin
    2. you forget to add this line: <?php esc_html_e( ‘WhatsApp’, ‘yith-woocommerce-wishlist’ ); ?>
    3. I have change all the share button icon to: None, exept of whatsapp
    4. the CSS don’t apply and i see the share button bullet points, so I need to change that.
    5. i really don’t know how you have PREMIUM VERSION.
    6. How you don’t get support? now you need to pay me for fixing your Bugs!

I settled on using WPClever Wishlist instead. Worked immediately without any issues.

Thank you for your advice, i will use that.

I have try to use WPClever, but my theme is used YITH so to change that will take too long (customize the button etc.)
so i have fixed the YITH plugin.
    now it’s looking good.

    Hi guys

@cheepnis I’m glad to hear that you find a valid alternative; if you could ever give our plugin another chance, we’ll be here to help

@ygalbrami As a I said previously, problems with icons are mostly related with other plugins or theme
For this reason there is little that we can “fix” on our side
On a vanilla installation, with just Twenty theme, WooCommerce and YITH WooCommerce Wishlist, there is no issue with icons at all

Next major release will contain latest version of FontAwesome icons to reduce incompatibility problems

Anyway, I’m glad to hear that you worked the problem around

Since @cheepnis opted for another plugin and @ygalbrami solved his problem, I’ll mark this topic as solved

@yithemes I have fixed the problem by editing your files in the plugin folder.
    It’s on your side…
For some reason, the pages of the wishlist, compare don’t have attached the css of the plugin.
I have fixed all the problems.
if you are a good programmer you should have tested the plugin first and then release it, and how you offer premium with these bugs?

    Plugin Author YITHEMES

    (@yithemes)

@ygalbrami I can assure you that all our plugins are fully tested, before any release
We go through the process of completely testing the plugin (both free and premium) any time we do a release, and we always grant compatbility with latest versions of WordPress and WooCommerce, releasing compatibility update even before official version is out in the market

If you want my feedback on your problem, the fact that the plugin “don’t have attached the css of the plugin” is probably cause of the theme
I know for sure that many themes dequeue plugin css in order to add their own style
For example Flatsome theme do this on wishlist

Have you tested our plugin on a clean installation, with just WordPress, WooCommerce and Wishlist?

    Hi!
I have the same problem and can’t fix it.

    Hi,

Same problem here. We are using StoreFront Theme and we don’t have any icons. When will there be an update?

    Thaks in advanced
