Does not send e-mail updates

This is a problem for me as well. Please help!

When I check the box “Notify Subscribers” and hit Publish, the check goes and way and it publishes the post but no one gets an email.
Very very annoying.

Nope – did that – same negative result

I re-tested 1.10. Works well for me. There could be other thing/s that might preventing emails…

can you please tell me why it does not send email with updates. I spent 5 hours on it and it is still does not work. I tried version 1.11 and 1.10. Nothing. Please help!

Unfortunately I have to say that I’ve given up… there are alternatives.

This plugin does not work, i have tried everything (different versions) and i also saw that a lot of people leave comment on the plaguns website that it does not work.

the ne subscriber doesn’t get the role “Subscriber” but the role is set to “none”. THAT’s the problem. You’ll see that under the “about” tab in the plugin settings.
I manually changed the role of one of the subscribers to “subscriber”. Now this subscriber gets automatically the new posts via mail as it should be.
How can I get this fixed to set the role of new users to “subscriber” automatically?
And what has to be done that I see the pending users also in the “about”tag of the plugin?
And is there a way to set the checkbox in posts for notifying checked by default?

Same here… New on Navayan Subscribe… Fresh install… Nobody gets an E-Mail when i publish a new post…

Now i find out that some people get an email… But not everybody…

Anything helpful? Getting much more error by other plugins… But with this two i′m not sure if they are important or not…

1.11 not send email. please help!

Hi All,

I was getting the error where no one was receiving an email.

On functions.php, line 171 was echoing the post thumbnails–and, this was causing the problem. If you comment out line 171, it sends emails to registered users.

Right now, it is sending double emails for me–but, that is another problem.
