Hi there, thanks for creating this plugin, I’ve set it up on a simple test server but can’t seem to get it working properly.

My test system has 9 users, when I enter one letter into the search box a drop down tells me there are 10 members found but it does not display any of them. Wen I enter the first two letters of a members name it tells me there are 0 members found even though that member name exists on my site.

    Hi @venutius,

    Thanks for the message. ??

I tested the plugin again and it works well on my site, I guess maybe:
1: Not sure did you test it on the correct search form? if you check https://yourdomain.com/members, you will find the member search at the top of the page, our plugin hook the member search form
2: Our plugin hook buddypress standard members search form, I understand a few theme use their own customized form, if the theme not have buddypress standard members search form, so maybe you will find it can not work
3: Just like item #2, but it maybe caused by plugin conflict that another plugin hooked buddypress standard members search form too?

Could you please give me your URL via https://tomas.zhu.bz/contact-me.html/ ? Also any feature request is welcome.

Also I will build a demo in this week so you can find how it works. ??

Thanks, have a successful new year! ??

    Best Regards,
    Tomas

I took another look and it still does not seem to be working. Using 2016, two plugins loaded BP Search and BuddyPress.

2: If there are still have this problem, could you please deactivate BP Search?
3: Could you please give me the result again to find out which plugin or theme conflict with our plugin?

    Hi @venutius,

Thanks for the message, I found the reason now, buddypress released the newest version 2.7.4, but my sites is still running on old bp versions and our plugin works well on these old versions, but since bp 2.7.4, some functions in buddypress have some changes, I am compare changes and upgrade my sites to newest version of bp and wp and let our plugin support them, there will have about 2~3 versions for solve a few problems in newest versions of bp or wp, you can pass these versions, I will update you in here again once all changes finished, I believe I can finish them soon, thanks, have a good day. ??
