Does not restrict access to custom post type

I have Event Manager installed on my site. On UM Settings, when I go to
UM / Settings / Access / Restriction Content
under Restricted Access to Posts, I can see Event and Location. I checked both of them.
And under Restricted Access to Taxonomies , I can see Event-tags and Ecent-categories. I checked both of them.
Under Global Site Access, I’ve tried both Site accessible to everyone and Siet accessible to logged in users.
On each Event page, such as
MyDomain.com/events
MyDomain.com/events/categories
MyDomain.com/events/locationsI edit each page to restrict access to certain user roles.
But none of these pages are protected when I access them as a logged-out user.
In other words, UM’s content restriction does not work on them.
What can I do to make them work the way they should? Thanks.
