• If you have a very basic site, this plugin is fine. If you have a site that integrates with other software (or accepts online payments), you might look elsewhere.

I have worked with this plugin for a few years.

It is an excellent document manager, which is why we put up with it.

But we have had more than a few problems over the years with how this plugin interacts with other plugins and software on the site.

However, the latest iteration manhandles the sessions, causing our shopping cart solution and our membership login manager to have amnesia.

This is reminiscent of issues this plugin has caused in the past – our history suggests that the developers do things that have implications for other software sharing the computing space.

So if you have a very basic site, you will probably not experience these issues. If your site is more advanced, be ready for random troubles.

thanks for the report… as i stated to you before, I am in the process of implementing an new way of handling sessions and there will be some growing pains.

I do take offence to the “Weak Support” comment. I try my best to answer every issue that is posted and most I do find solutions for.

End you could just disable the session for mDocs and they would have no effect on your site.

Thank you for your prompt response.

Some years back I had requested help with a numeric issue that Memphis Docs was causing with eCommerce Templates.
That request went unanswered, which has colored my response.

I don’t know what you are talking about when you say “as I stated to you before”… Perhaps you have me confused with someone else.

Well I am sorry, if I missed your comments, I do try my best to answer and solve everyones issues.

Where did you post your comments here or on my personal site?

I any case to turn sessions off just goto mDocs dashboard Options > Settings > Disable Session Data.

It must have been directly on the plugin site.

It was a long time ago.

On one other occasion, I have reached out to you and you responded with accurate advice, so I have edited my earliest comment.
