    Hello folks

I’m developing a git-enabled WordPress plugin here, have it symlinked to the local wordpress plugin director but WordPress doesn’t seem to pick it up for weird reasons.

I expect that plugin to appear under /wp-admin/plugins.php so that I can activate it there. Strangely, when I zip that folder and do a manual upload, then it appears. Just not when symlinked.

Researched already a lot but nothing helped, nothing worked. All my attempts failed. Also there is nothing suspicious in the error log.

That said, I wonder what’s the logic how WordPress is picking up plugins?

Any clues would be great. Or link to the code where WordPress is picking up plugins. So that I can debug and find the cause.

    Thanks!
    Michael H
