Does not play video in Chrome

  • Dear Developer,

    I am working on a website, and I am using your plugin as it has some nice features to it, but I have a problem playing the videos in Google Chrome – It plays nicely in Internet Explorer, Edge etc., but just keeps loading in Chrome.

    I have followed all the steps in the tutorial which you set up for getting around any errors, I even made the videos smallest possible – but still it does not play in Chrome.

    Would you be kind to help me, as I am about to give up?

    This is an interesting bug and I haven’t figured it out yet, but I want to let you know that I’m working on it. It’s not a problem with your video files, they’re fine. There’s something in your theme that’s interfering with Video.js playback. Have you tried switching my plugin’s player setting to the WordPress Default player? Does that have the same problem?

    I have tried many different plugins – but decided to use yours, as it has the functions i needed ?? But I worked at one point, but suddenly stopped worked after moving the website from one host to another. But the default WordPress player does the same, if I try just a few videos. If I use youtube videos it works fine.

    Does your new host run PHP 7?

    They are running PHP 7 – and the version of WordPress is also the newest version
