I have been battling an issue for months now. At first I thought it was something wrong with my theme (Divi). After several weeks of back and forth, they determined it was Wordfence causing the problem. The problem being, that Wordfence blocks the loading of the Shop page, at random times. Save, updates of Wordfence. Usually within an hour or two of Wordfence being updated, it blocks the Shop page. I have searched and cannot find the cause of the problem. I see all over the place, look at the Live Traffic and see what caused it and tell it to allow that ..whatever. Well, it doesn’t show any cause. As for every minute my shop page is down, I am loosing money. I have to get it fixed as quickly as possible. There are only 2 ways to fix the problem.

Open up the Shop page in Divi builder, wait for it all to load, then Save the page. No need to do anything else. I have recently figured out that I can Deactivate the WordFence plugin, and re-activate it. That to will fix the issue.

For the past week, I have had it in learning mode, and while I would have thought, the Shop page would not have been blocked while in learning mode, low and behold, it got blocked again. Still nothing to point as to what the cause is.

I have looked over all my logs, and I cannot see anything that points to the cause. Like another user pointed out in their post. Wordfence is no longer compatible with Divi.

If you have any help in resolving this issue, it would allow me to pay more attention to growing my business without having to check the Shop page several times a day to make sure it is still loading.

FYI – I completely rebuilt a site using Divi, and put Wordfence on it, and now wordfence is doing the same thing to that site. I actually de-activated it on my other site, until I get this figured out.

Your input would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Hi @eaglerose, thanks for the detailed account of what you’ve been seeing.

Sorry to hear that Learning Mode didn’t seem to resolve the issue. When that is the case, looking at what your Live Traffic page says about the block may help us find the cause. You may need to try the problematic actions again after reenabling Wordfence and then check the most recent items in the list.

When clicking any line (or “eye” icon) to expand it, it will state the reason that Wordfence blocked an action in red text. Sometimes you’ll see an “ADD PARAM TO FIREWALL ALLOWLIST” button here which you can try clicking to allow these types of request in future. Although if that doesn’t work or isn’t the case, share a copy of the red text here so we can help you out.

    Thanks,
    Peter.
