• I wanted to follow a certain hashtag. However, although the widget description mentions this function explicetly it has never been implemented.

    This widget will only fetch tweets from your own account or your lists. It is NOT possible to display the results of a hashtag query.

    I spent 2 hours fiddling around with this app until I found a 2 years old support thread where the widget author confirms that his description is acutally misleading.

    I’m sorry if you feel like the description is misleading. It reads:

    A widget that properly handles twitter feeds, including parsing @username, #hashtag, and URLs into links

    I feel like that’s pretty clear, but I’m always open to rewording it if someone has a better or clearer way to state that (I am admittedly not a wordsmith).
