Thanks for your feedback on this, though I’m confused as to what ad you might be referring to. The plugin does mention upgrade features, but that’s just in one of the plugin’s settings pages and it’s just a textual description of the new features in the premium version.

The step-by-step instructions are specific for our premium version, though the instructions for this version are basically detailed here:
