Does not import authors

  • The plugin asks to import authorS, plural, but it only shows 1 author to assign, whereas there are a few.
    Import with or without creating the authors as user before running the import doesn’t make any difference. The authors are in the XML like so:

    <author><name>Johnny the Co-author</name>...

    It is possible to re-assign posts to the original author after importing, but that’s not what is promised.
    WordPress version is 6.4.3, plugin version is 0.9.2
    Any suggestions?
