Does not honor BuddyPress bp_email_use_wp_mail

  • When I set BuddyPress to not use the BP email template system with add_filter( ‘bp_email_use_wp_mail’, ‘__return_true’ ); in bp-custom.php, SendGrid still uses the BP template. Is there a quick fix for this?

    I have a custom HTML email template that works great using wp_mail when I disable the SendGrid plugin. When the plugin is enabled, it uses both the BP template and my custom template in the email ignoring bp_email_use_wp_mail.
