Does not display the number of comments in a certain category

If you check the plugin’s install doc, you’ll notice the cat attribute is numerical, which means that the category ID is required. It won’t work with a name. Try using the cat ID (number) should do the trick.

I did the same heading with a digital name and label, as I put “1” in the instructions, it still doesn’t work.

Is “1” the actual ID for your “blog” category?

Yes, the actual id is 1

I checked to put a comment in both “records” and “pages”, as a result, 0 comments are still displayed

Hey I just re-tested [sbs_comments cat="1"] and it is working normally to display the total number of comments in the “Uncategorized” category. I am testing on default WordPress site, making sure that the posts are published and comments published as well.

So with that in mind, if it is not working on your site, there must be a conflict with another plugin or maybe theme functions, etc. Best advice is to do some basic troubleshooting. I would be glad to provide a guide if it will be useful for you.
