does not disable breadcrumbs

Sorry the plugin didn’t work for you. It can only disable the WooCommerce breadcrumbs if the theme is using the default WooCommerce Breadcrumbs. If the plugin didn’t work for you, then the most likely reason is because your theme is creating its own breadcrumbs instead of using the default Breadcrumbs built into WooCommerce.

You might also want to check to see if your theme has any Customizer settings or Theme Options that control the breadcrumbs. They may also be overriding the plugin settings.
