Does not count page views

The plugin does not count any page views. The diagram is empty, the counter in the page list is zero for every page and every post. Everything else seems to work: visitors, countries, browsers, hit overview – they all display plausible data, except the page view counter. What could we try to make it work?
We are using W3 Total Cache (Page Cache disabled), Wordfence (the REST Endpoint for WP Statistics is registred and whitelisted).
