• Hi, as per my (5 star) review, thanks for this GREAT, and very useful plugin.

    A problem I’ve received feedback about though…..

    For our set up we are using the ‘required fields’ option, and then the ‘profile image’ option – so the user fills in the required fields, saves and then receives the second screen message about the profile image after saving the required field info successfully.

    The problem is, upon hitting save for the ‘required fields’ part of completion, the plugin does not always refresh the page with the updated information that has been added to the profile, and so users are left wondering, or to hit refresh to find out if changes have been saved as entered (which they invariably have). This can be confusing for users who aren’t tech-savvy enough to know immediately to refresh / f5.

    The same thing happens after image upload, the error message does not disappear, it requires a page refresh in order to show the image and remove the error, after which the user can navigate the site.

    Can you think of a reason this might be happening?

    Or if not, of something I could do to remove the issue, even if it’s force a hard refresh upon hitting the save button or something?

    Users have also fed back that it seems a little disorientating that nothing happens once all of the required info has been saved, for example a final screen message (perhaps something suitable to remain on the edit profile screen full time unless any required info is deleted?), saying ‘Congratulations, your profile info is complete with the basic required info, we hope you enjoy using the site….’

    Hi Kir,

    We are sorry for the delay.
    This plugin does not interfere with saving on notice. When the data is saved, we do re-calculate if all the criteria for the completion matched or not.
    I will suggest looking for other possible conflicts.

    Thank you for your suggestion about the completion success notice, we will definitely add it in our update for BP 12.

    @kir-2012 Thank you for this thread. I ran into the same issue. I use BuddyBoss Platform and I found out during testing that when a member goes redirected to the profile edit section that it shows the registration info which is already complete and a member doesn’t know what to do. I had to try to explain to each member instructions to click the next section to fill out. I absolutely love this plugin and wish that it would be seamless where it auto takes the member to the sections that is missing information. I had to deactivate it until I can get a better solution to make it work for my needs.
