    Good question – the difference is between the validation WP applies when and admin creates a site (just numbers allowed) and when a user registers a new site (just numbers NOT allowed). We had enforced the user-targeted validation in this plugin in order to cut down on conflicts/errors, but we realized that rule didn’t really make sense applied to admins so we have just been working on making an exception for the number only validation (great timing on your part!) so that you can now create number-only sites with the NS Cloner. Checkout the latest version (3.0.5.1) and you should be good to go – if not of course let us know and we’ll be glad to help!
