Does NOT allow me to update my Passwords

  • This Plugin do not let me update my passwords. It tells me as soon as I try that “Someone tried to change your password’ and it blocks it. This is NOT helpful at all. Do not use this Plugin if you need to change your password in WordPress!

    Wordfence does not block password changes, but can block other activity on the site. If you can post a screenshot on our support forum showing the message you see when trying to change the password, we may be able to help.

    Yes, I second that Matt. @callie Before advising NOT to use a plugin that is as helpful as WF, please make sure you know enough before passing your advice to others.

    It sounds like your website doesn’t know it’s you that is making the password change. Are your Cookies turned on?
