• Good day, Emre.

We have written a plugin for POPIA Compliance in South Africa that is currently under review by the WordPress Team. We have just come across a compatibility issue with your plugin and is wondering if you could perhaps assist us on how we can remedy this problem.

When any page loads, our plugin checks for a Cookie (cookie-accepted) that if accepted is set as 1. If there is no cookie, a cookie banner is displayed.

This works perfectly until we start using your Plugin. After installing your plugin, the cookie is still set, but it appears as if the cookie can not be read when your plugin is active. Deactivating your plugin sorts the problem.

Is there any way that we can adapt our code in order for your plugin not to influence our plugin?

If you want to do some tests on your side, you can download our plugin from:

    Kind Regards
    Francois Joubert

Out of the 1 million + Install plugins, WP Fastest Cache is the only one that does not work. Our Plugin was just approved and you should be able to find Be POPIA Compliant plugin in the plugin directory soon.
