Does not accept password

  • When trying to log in wp does not accept my password. I have changed it, I created multiple new accounts, it does not work. What does wort is:

    ERROR: The password you entered for the username -XXX- is incorrect. Lost your password?
    I then get an email, can reset my pw and can access my blog. As soon as I leave, I cannot log in again, even if I haven’t even logged out.

    Does anyone have an idea on how to solve this?

  • I am not code savvy at all, but I need to create a members only website. I also want admin to have to approve the user first. I am using “email as username for wp-members” and “wp-members” to block certain pages. I am the administrator under my work email so I added my personal email as a user to try test whether it was working. It won’t accept my password. I go through the reset process, put in the laborious code to reset it but the code provided in the email wont let me in. How do I make this work?
