• Hi,
I put together this site in a sub folder and then followed to move it into the root.
    https://just-energy.org/

After moving the site I could not see the home page – a blank html page loaded. Sub pages would load if I put those directly into a browser. eg, https://just-energy.org/what-we-do

After doing some research I could see that I needed to delete the index.html file in the root of the wordpress install. After doing this I can see the site ok. Other machines can too. my client can’t. I explained to them they need to clear the browser cache but this isn’t getting me anywhere.

    can anyone see https://just-energy.org?

  • I can see it (Firefox 3.5) – although there’s a worrying ‘?’ at the end of the url:

    https://just-energy.org/?

I can also see the blog without any issue (FireFox 3.5.2).

    hi again,

i asked them to clear their browser cache and they did this but say the problem still exists in firefox and safari…

is there any reason why the homepage won’t show for some users and will for others? it doesn’t seem to be a browser pc/mac problem.

is there a method to re-load the site?

    cheers

seems like a problem local to South Africa – they just can’t seem to see https://just-energy.org but can see a sub page.

I’m really struggling with this. Can anyone suggest how to fix this problem please?

    This was a caching issue.

    Thanks.
