Does MS not use register_post()?

  • Does a MS install of WP not invoke register_post() when a user submits the form on wp-signup.php?

    If not, is there another hook we can use to achieve the same effect? Basically I want to change the sign-up behavior so it emails the admin rather than the person who signs up.
