    I can see the option for “metro” layout is available when I create the gallery. But when I place the gallery in front using the shortcode, it looks like a normal grid of squares.

    When I check in the console I see an error trying to get the file:

    [mydomain]/wp-content/plugins/gallery-factory-lite/frontend/js/imagelightbox.min.js?ver=1.1.0
    [mydomain]/wp-content/plugins/gallery-factory-lite/frontend/js/script.min.js?ver=1.1.0 404 (Not Found)

    I went to that folder and there is not minified versions of those files, just imagelightbox.js and script.js.

    Besides this, the plugins seems very promising, and the admin dashboard is great!

    UPDATE:

    I copied those files to their minified versions (in the same folder frontend/js), and now metro layout works fine. Be aware of this and include the minified files in the next update!

    Thanks for such a great plugin, it works great !

    Hi Guilleliss,
    Thank you for the feedback!
    I’ve discovered this bug about a week ago and have commited a fix already. But it seems I’ve messed up something during the commit process and wordpress catalog still shows v1.1.0, while the actual 1.1.1 is downloaded and installed. So I guess if you installed 1.1.0 before the update, your WP still thinks that there no new version.
    I’ll do my best to make next release nice and clean, it will be out soon.

    Hello!

    Thanks for you answer. Yes, I see now there is a 1.1.1 version, but it is not shown as the last version so I guess we wont have the chance to upgrade unless I download the 1.1.1 manually.

    I will stay with this fix until a upgrade comes within the plugin manager.

    I will mark as resolved.

    At first I thought that the metro layout was a feature only for the full-feature version of the plugin. Just to be sure, what are the differences between the lite and the full version?

    Thanks for your answer and great work, this plugin does everything I was looking for!

    Now the main idea behind the lite version is to provide almost the same feature set, but be more suitable for the relatively small image collections.
    So key differences are (the features that are available in full version):
    – Folder tree depth is not limited to 3 levels, thus allowing much more albums to be organized;
    – Pagination for front-end album display (4 types or disabled);
    – Thumbnail lazy loading option for front-end display;
    – Custom thumbnail cropping (not released yet, planned for this weekend);

    And generally the development process for the full version goes ahead of the lite version, so new features will first be introduced to the full version and then (well, some of them) ported to the lite.
