Does Linux Hosting Avoid “Out of Memory”?

  • I host my blog https://games.iflove.com/ on Windows. But it shows “Out of memory” several times every day.

    The hosting company replied to my email saying that it would be ok with Linux. That suggests I would give up windows hosting and purchase Linux instead.

    So the problem is:

    Is Linux superior to Windows for WordPress? And will the Linux really get rid of the “Out of memory” problem?

    Yes. Maybe.

    Linux hosting works better for WP than Windows hosting does.

    Out of Memory issues can occur on either one, though, and it’s a bit of a toss up as to whether it will occur more often on one or the other.
