Has anyone used the LightSpeed Cache plugin with PMPpro?

If so was it using a local LS server or using the Quic CDN?

LSCache claims it can handle twice as many requests per second compared with W3T Cache and can also perform caching for logged in users.

Has it lived up to the claims in a PMPpro setting?

Hi there, thank you for reaching out to Paid Memberships Pro.

Each site is different and I believe it would be best to give it a try on your site first to see if it works for you.

Having said that though, I would recommend taking a look at our Caching companion guide on what caching plugins we have tested and know PMPro works well with: https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/documentation/advanced/caching/

I was originally using W3 Total Cache but had two issues. Firstly, intermittent incorrect rendering of some pages which required having to flush the cache multiple times a day for those pages. Secondly, slow response time for logged in users.

I tried the LSCache plugin with apache on my hosting provider who has a server level LiteSpeed cache. The results with the default installation were immediate and impressive.

For non-logged in users the page display was instantaneous once the page was in the cache. For logged in users first time page load was slower but then was instantaneous on subsequent page loads. LSCache creates a private cache for each logged in user which maintains page integrity albeit at the expense of additional disk space.

The default LSCache plugin settings only configures page cache and none of browser, object or minify so there’s opportunity for further performance improvements.

Based on my experience I’d recommend LiteSpeed Cache if your hosting provider has it enabled at the server level.
