Does “Keep Permalinks” work on a pre-existing WP Staging site?

    I’ve had an issue with WP Staging and Elementor which was resolved by resetting Permalinks to Post Name.

    However, this happened on the main site when I was (still am) mid-way through a complex editing job in a staging site.

    I’m wonder whether checking the Keep Permalinks box in WP Staging settings has any effect on a staging site that has already been created??

    Hi @johnshweb

    No, changing the “Keep Permalinks” option on the live site will be applied to newly created staging sites, not the current ones. You can change the permalinks option directly on the staging site from its dashboard.
