Does Jabze have a group chat?

We actually do support group chat in our main Jabze service. The WordPress plugin itself though did not surface that feature.

To utilize the Jabze Group Chat feature, just go ahead and sign up for regular accounts at jabze.com.

If there is enough interest to have group chat feature in the plugin itself, please feel free to add a comment here and we may consider adding it.

Good news, we actually now have full support of this feature. What the user needs to do though, is to do one extra click and get into our Jabze Web app (no additional sign-in is needed).

You see, we wanted to keep the WordPress experience as light as possible, and we believe most users would just want to be able to see other users being online, and saying high. For more serious group discussions (with persistence no less), we provide a full web based UI to manage the more complex user experience.

In addition, we offer an easy way for the users to set up the Jabze mobile app, for iPhone and Android devices. There’s full featured group chat capabilities there, totally sync’ed with the Jabze platform too.

Please give it a try and let us know how it turns out…

Do you mean I just have to check a box in my jabze.com profile to activate group chat on wordpress?
I don’t see the group chat feature anywhere on wordpress or changelog, did you just add it today? ^^

And do you have a screenshot of the feature or a demo site (wordpress version)? ??

There is no profile settings to tweak. The underlying Jabze platform is a full featured powerful rich media messaging exchange. The WordPress plugin is a light-weight window into it.

To access the full feature, a WordPress user would just click the “?” on the lower right, and then click the “Web App” button, and our group chat feature will be there immediately.

unfortunately this is a k.o. criteria for us. maybe you’ll add this in the future.
