• I use qtranslate XT for my bilingual wordpress page and have now chosen a theme which works with a page builder. It is not compatible with qtranslateX, i.e. the site is functional now but I cannot change the layout with the themebuilder without destroying the posts or pages.
It seems I have to use WPML. Therefore, I could use this plugin – but only if I knew whether it also works, or works at all, with qtranslate XT. If not, is there a workaround I can use?
    Best regards,

  • I would test it locally I guess. It does not mention qTranslate XT but “X” Will test locally myself soon as well. This as WPML mentioned the plugin is maintained by them but is not working properly for single language translation, but only with multi and using specific steps. See https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/qtranslate-importer/#with-wpml

    Hi Rhand,
thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I do not know how to test this locally. I have seen the part in the WPML documentation you mention, but I suspect the plug-in won’t work wih QTranslate-XT because it uses different tags from QTranslate-X. Have you tried it out yourself yet?
