Does it work with images in a post?

    By default, the template uses the_excerpt() to display each post’s content. If you’d like images to show up, create a custom template (as shown in a previous thread), and use the_content() in place of the_exerpt().

    Perfect! My adjusted template is in the theme root and all the category post content, including images, now appears as expected in the widget.
